This past weekend, the community of Ardsley came together for a day of horsepower, music, food, and hometown pride \u2014 all in support of the men and women who show up when it matters most. The MVR Car Show Fundraiser benefiting Ardsley First Responders \u2014 Ardsley Police Benevolent Association, Ardsley Engine Company, and Ardsley Secor Volunteer Ambulance Corps was nothing short of a roaring success, drawing car enthusiasts, families, and neighbors from all over Westchester County, NY and CT for a celebration of classic rides and community spirit.<\/p>\n
A Show-Stopping Turnout<\/strong><\/p>\n When all was said and done, 130 cars<\/strong> rolled onto the show field \u2014 a lineup that had something for everyone. Gleaming classics, muscle cars, tricked-out modern rides, and hidden-gem daily drivers lined the lot, giving attendees plenty to admire (and plenty of trunks and hoods popped for closer inspection). Owners swapped stories, judges made their rounds, and spectators wandered from row to row soaking in the chrome and horsepower on display.<\/p>\n Raising Real Support for Real Heroes<\/strong><\/p>\n At the heart of the event was its purpose: supporting Ardsley First Responders \u2014 Ardsley Police Benevolent Association, Ardsley Engine Company, and Ardsley Secor Volunteer Ambulance Corps. By the end of the day, the car show had raised an incredible $4,000.00<\/strong> \u2014 funds that will go directly toward supporting our local police, firefighters, and EMS personnel to keep our community safe. It’s a powerful reminder of what a town can accomplish when it rallies around the people who protect it.<\/p>\n Food Trucks Fueled the Fun<\/strong><\/p>\n No car show is complete without great food, and this one delivered in a big way. Attendees fueled up between laps around the show field with a lineup of local favorites:<\/p>\n Raffles Packed with Local Love<\/strong><\/p>\n Beyond the car judging and food, attendees also had the chance to win big through a 50\/50 raffle and a raffle stacked with gift certificates from local businesses that generously donated to the cause. Prizes included:<\/p>\n A huge thank-you goes out to every one of these local businesses and sponsors \u2014 their generosity added an extra layer of excitement to the day and helped make the fundraiser even more successful.<\/p>\n The Soundtrack of the Day<\/strong><\/p>\n Keeping the energy high all day long was F-Sharp Entertainment<\/strong>, spinning DJ music that kept the crowd moving and gave the whole event a festival-like atmosphere.
